The villa is located just a few steps from a wide beach with fine sand, in the comune of Marsala- a historic sea town on the western coast of Sicily, perfect for families that are looking to spend a relaxing vacation of sun, beach, and relax.

For those who love wine, more specifically fortified wine, Marsala is the place to visit. The fortified wine Marsala comes from this city and on along the road you will see vineyards covering the area. The production of Marsala is with grapes from the vineyards, which you can visit. Alternatively, you can taste the wines in of the many wine shops in the town. The town is also known for its Norman cathedral San Tommasso di Canterbury from the 1100s. Throughout the centuries it has been rebuild several times. We also recommend you to visit the Palazzo della Loggia from the 1700s.

In addition to the large cities, the area also has some beautiful nature. Just outside Marsala is Lo Stagnone. This is an area for salt production and you can therefore see plenty of salt lakes, from where the salt is gathered. The area also has numerous charming windmills. One of the best kite surfing schools in Europe happens to be here, in case you want to learn how to perform this exciting sport.

If you want to slow things down, we recommend a visit to Lo Zingaro Nature Reserve. An amazing area with beautiful nature, small beaches and crystal clear water, and a very rich plant and animal life. You can go for a walk along marked paths and end the day with a bath on one of the many remorse beaches.

Also within day-trip distance, the historic towns of Erice and Segesta, as well as the sea town of Trapani and San Vito Lo Capo, which is known for its beach on a sheltered bay.

You can also take the highway to Palermo. If you do not like to drive yourself, you can go by train all over Sicily and the rest of Italy. Trenitalia is very modern. During the summer, you can take the ferry to the island of Pantelleria or you can take a trip to Africa and Tunisia.
